  2. La globalización es el proceso que ha conducido al acercamiento de las diferentes áreas geográficas de la Tierra, así como de las actividades económicas, recursos, poblaciones y culturas. Como consecuencia de la globalización, las mismas empresas desarrollan sus actividades económicas en distintas áreas geográficas del mundo. La globalización favorece el conocimiento de las distintas culturas, pero también puede ocasionar la pérdida de la propia identidad por la imposición de otras costumbres. Calle en Egipto.
