  4. MasteringPhysics Course home page. View Announcements and upcoming assignments. Navigate to your assignments, eText and Study Area’s (if your text includes them)

  5. MasteringPhysics Click “Assignments” to view instructor assignments/homework. (Applies if you received a Course ID).

  6. MasteringPhysics Read the question and answer all the parts as instructed. Click “myeBook” for access to full text.

  9. Before you register To register, you will need: • A valid email address • The access code found packaged with your textbook (your access code will look something like this) PDFGH-LKJHG-XXXXX-HKGKS-AKRJG • Your Course ID (provided by your lecturer)

  10. Registering for MasteringPhysics Go to www.masteringphysics.com Click “Students”

  11. Registering for MasteringPhysics Answer the question: “Do you have an access code?” Select: “Yes, I have an access code” if you purchased a text with a code. If you need to purchase online, follow the on screen instructions. Click “Continue” Click “Continue”

  12. Purchasing MasteringPhysics Select text book and eText options Price will be shown before purchase Click “Continue”

  13. Registering for MasteringPhysics Review the License Agreement and Privacy Policy,Click the button to continue

Registering for MasteringPhysics On the Access Information page, you will be asked if your have a Pearson Education account. • If so, click the Yes option. • Enter the existing log in name and password • If No, enter your desired log in name • Enter and then re-type your password • Enter your AccessCode and select Next tip: use your email address as your login name: it’s unique and easy to remember! Click “Next”

Registering for MasteringPhysics • Type your email address (carefully!) • Select your Country, University name • Select a Security question and enter your answer • Click Next to submit your registration tip: If your University/school is not listed, scroll to the bottom of the drop-down list and select Other. Enter your school name in full.

  16. A Confirmation and Summary page displays, indicating your registration is successful! A copy of the information will also be sent to the email you entered • You are now ready to log into your course. • Enter your Log in name and password under the Log in section on the homepage

  17. Enrolling on your Course Enter your Course ID provided by your lecturer. If you don’t have aCourse ID, select a book and click “Go to Study Area.” Your lecturer may request you enter your Student ID
