  3. PONG! • Created December 2nd, 1972 • Released January 1st, 1975 A remake of Pong in colour

  4. The First Computer Game • On January 2nd, 1975, Gunfight was released

  5. Space Invaders • Released January 2nd, 1978

  6. Pac-man • Created January 4th, 1980 • Originally called Puck-man but was renamed due to the closeness to an offensive word

  7. Tetris • Released January 1st, 1985

  8. The Sims • Released January 2nd 2000 • Quickly became a best seller

  9. First Death On October 10th 2002, a South Korean man known as Kim died from excessive gaming. He spent 86 straight hours gaming without pausing for food, drink or sleep.

  10. World of Warcraft (WOW) • Launched November 2004
