  2. Stubborn adjective • If you are acting stubborn, you are determined to do things your way. You are not willing to change what you are doing or how you are acting.

  3. Stubborn • This girl is being stubborn. She does not want to do what her mother asked her to do.

  4. Stubborn • Mules are considered very stubborn animals. If they don’t want to move, they won’t. • Sometimes a stubborn person is described as being as stubborn as a mule.
