  14. Designing • We brainstormed several designs • Decided on simple, yet sleek • design

  15. Sewing • Options: foam, suede, felt, plastic, vinyl, leather • Felt ->Fibres contaminated • Foam ->Hard to decorate • Vinyl ->Sleek and leather-like • Suede ->Value-for-money, widely available • Plastic ->Stitches show in plastic • Leather ->Not widely available, expensive

  16. Decorations • Beads -> Pretty and neat • Foam letters -> Hard to cut • Kuti-kuti -> Glue-gunning is ugly • Dried flowers -> Could not find cheap source

  17. Feedback • Pocket for alcohol swabs • Use template for foam letters • Emphasis on multi-purpose • Kuti-kuti is messy

  18. Amendments • Plastic Pocket for Alcohol Swabs • Not use kuti-kuti or foam letters altogether • Adaptation of TTC for multi-use

  19. Final product • 17th August – The product is about 80% done • Product needs to be assembled • From parts done by individual members • Projected Deadline 1st September LATEST
