DESCRIPTION

The Caribbean Communications Infrastructure Program (CARCIP) is a World Bank and IDA-funded initiative aimed at improving digital connectivity and communications infrastructure across participating countries, including the Dominican Republic, Grenada, St. Lucia, and St. Vincent and the Grenadines. With funds totaling US$30M in IDA loans and allocated grants, CARCIP focuses on ICT-led innovation, capacity building, and effective implementation through regional agencies like CTU, CKLN, and ECTEL. The program envisions a more interconnected Caribbean, fostering economic growth and development.
