What Has Been Accomplished? • 17 Technical Reports completed and submitted to FDOT and FHWA • Three (3) Drafts of DEIS completed and submitted to FDOT District Four, Central Office and the City of Port St. Lucie • Fourth (4th) Draft of DEIS currently underway and to be completed by August 27, 2010

  3. Six (6) Build Alternatives(Plus “No-Build”) What alternatives are being considered in the DEIS?

  4. DEIS Next Steps • Submit fourth (4th) Draft of DEIS to FDOT – August 27, 2010 • Submit Draft DEIS to FHWA and cooperating agencies – September 30, 2010 • Receive FHWA comments – October 29, 2010 • Submit revised DEIS to federal agencies – November 2010

  5. DEIS Next Steps (continued) • FHWA DEIS approval – January 2011 • EPA Publication in Federal Register – February 2011 • Public Hearing – March 2011 • Preferred Alternative selected by – July 2011 • Record of Decision by – July 2012
