  1. Brief Updates on the e-NGAS Implementation in the CO.

  2. Request for contract of services to work for the e-ngas in the ROs to DBM were then authorized and approved. (per DBM letter dated October 18, 2008)… • What is the status in the field?

  3. Data build-up of beginning balances as of April 2004 for – • Inventories • PPEs • Receivable accounts • Payable accounts

  4. Encoding/ Updating of 2004 to 2008 transactions for the 7 accounting units (with 9 funds) in the CO reaches 75% as of dec. 31, 2008 • Working on parallel run – some bureaus as of 2007

  5. Request for enhancement training on E-NGAs for CO and field personnel was submitted on August 8, 2008. • REPLY: GAFMIS Advisory No. 2008-09-004 dated September 8, 2008…” that upgrading of systems of existing e-NGAs user Agencies, roll-out assistance and

  6. GAFMIS Advisory No. 2008-09-004 dtd 9/8/08 functional trainings shall be authorized as soon as testing of the new version is completed and its full acceptance by the said Sector is made.

  7. On the procurement of IT Equipment/ Hardware - Request for the purchase of hardware equipment in the amount of 18.5M for e-NGAS use at the CO & RO was submitted to the Budget Division last August 2008 for funds availability but likewise referred to the office of Director P. Soriano for evaluation and approval.

  8. No request yet for the field offices use pending approval of the CO request.
