  2. CampusLife • Saint Joseph University is a Catholic University • Saint Joseph University is located at • 5600 City Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19131 • The campus takes up 103 acres in western Philadelphia and Montgomery County; there are 78 buildings

  3. Housing is guaranteed for freshmen and sophomores only. It is not guaranteed for transfers or new spring semester freshmen, but may be offered on a space-available basis. • Freshmen and sophomores are required to live on campus unless they are commuting from their permanent residence. • Saint Joseph´s University offers its resident students four types of living accommodations; Residence centers, Townhouses, Houses, and Apartment Units. Freshmen have options of four Residence centers: McShain Hall, LaFarge Hall, Sourin Hall and Moore Hall •  Freshmen and sophomores are not permitted to have cars on campus.

  4. Academics • The middle range GPA is 3.0. • The middle range SAT is 1070-1240. • Interviews are suggested but not required. • There are 5 different essay questions you can chose any one to answer.

  5. Financial Aid • only financial assistance form required at Saint Joseph´s University is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). • Preferred filing date for the FAFSA is February 15.

  6. Scholarships & Internships • There are many scholarships available at Saint Joseph. • Examples: Merit-Based Academic Scholarships, Academy of Food Marketing Scholarships, Athletic Scholarships, Board of Trustees Scholarship and many more. • Saint Joseph has many internships available as well.

  7. FinancialAspects • Tuition $35,080 for in and out state. • Room and Board is $2,094. • $60 for application.

  8. Deadlines • Students who apply for Early Action by November 15th will be sent an admissions decision by December 25th. • Students who apply for Regular Decision by February 1st will be sent an admissions decision by March 15th.

  9. MealPlans • Platinum Plan- 19 all-you-care-to-eat meals per week-$155 DB dollars • - $2,212 per semester • Gold Plan- 14 all-you-care-to-eat meals per week- $260 DB dollars - $2,212 per semester • Silver Plan- 10 all-you-care-to-eat meals per week- $312.50 DB dollars - $2,212 per semester

  13. Enrollment • Saint Joseph´s has an enrollment of 4,450 undergraduate students • 2,500 graduate students.

  15. Visiting • Discover SJU presentations are offered Monday through Friday at 10:00am. and 1:00pm and on select Saturdays throughout the school year at 10:00am.
