This lighting design project, supervised by Jono Perry, focuses on creating an engaging experience for the Lakme Opera performance set in Australia. The setup includes strategic placements of various lighting fixtures, such as mechanical ground rows, gimbals, and profile fittings to highlight the intricate details of the temple set and surrounding bamboo hut. Various MR16 and MR11 lights are used in combination with custom fittings and transformers to achieve the desired visual impact, enhancing the narrative of the opera while ensuring visual symmetry between the proscenium and the audience.
