BVMW - The German Association for Small and Medium-sized Businesses The BVMW is a politically independent association which caters for all commercial branches and professions, and represents the interests of small and medium-sized businesses in politics, with administrative authorities, with trade unions and with major companies. Medium-sized businesses – around 3.3 million individual enterprises in all – are the backbone and impulse of the German economy. Through your membership of the BVMW, you assist in strengthening the situation of small and medium-sized businesses and enable them to secure a more powerful position. Virtual Campus in Wismar University • All Degree Programs in Wismar are accreditated • There exists a Binational Degree Programme on BAC and MAS level between Wismar (DE) and Szczecin (PL) in Business Informatics • This program is in preparation to be enlarged to BA to France Lyon/Tours, Budapest and Essex • In the Long Distance Programs we have students from Germany, China and South Africa studying in German and English • The Long Distance Programs will use the Virtual Campus Material • Furthermore the material will be used in EU – related programs in cooperation with SME • The material will be used also in presence study programs in German and English for self guided studies and case studies
