As a jock and gamer, I'm torn between pursuing a career in professional sports or gaming. Exploring various paths like sports journalism, personal coaching, or even real estate, I've discovered hybrid ideas that merge my passions, such as a Kinect sports camp or a sports betting app for friends. With a coder shortage looming, I questioned whether I could learn to code myself. Utilizing resources like Codeacademy and MIT App Inventor, I created a sports betting app that brought my friends together, ultimately boosting my confidence and proving that I could succeed in tech.
