GOALS • To create a central space in the Cripple Creek community for education and interaction • Improve community health and sustainability • Install water tanks for supporting EVFD • Use permaculture principles to design self-sustaining food gardens • Increase sharing of knowledge, tools and skills

  3. DETAILS • Water storage tanks for EVFD • Net-zero design – community built • Large open space for classes and activities • Composting toilets • Rainwater collection tanks • High tunnel greenhouse space • Tool library • Cripple Creek Cash – Local currency

Process • Observe and interact We will meet on the land several times to observe the land and contemplate designs. • Create goals As a community we will decide on important design features of our community space. • Share Share our vision with the greater community and compile community resources that can be used as part of our development plan.

  5. Slow and Small Solutions As we move forward, interest in our projects will hopefully increase and more neighbors will join us. • Site preparations – Clear for a pull-through access road • Invite EVFD to install large volume water tanks for fire suppression • Develop garden spaces • Construct community center
