  1. And Now Real Life Begins

  2. John 3:16-18 • 16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. • 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. • 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.

  3. Why are we here? • God made man, everything was awesome! • Sin entered man’s world and man fell • God respected our decision to go against His will, and He is letting sin take its course, so that there will be no question. • Jesus came to save us from sin and certain death if we will accept Him in our place. • He will do anything He can to restore us back to the way things were.

  4. The Whole Point • Get Back To Jesus! • Get to heaven! • Bring as many with us as possible! • Even your enemies, you won’t have to fake liking each other up there.

  5. Philippians 1:20-22 • 20 I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have sufficient courage so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death. • 21For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. • 22If I am to go on living in the body, this will mean fruitful labor for me. Yet what shall I choose? I do not know!

  6. Philippians 1:23-26 • 23 I am torn between the two: I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far;  • 24but it is more necessary for you that I remain in the body. • 25Convinced of this, I know that I will remain, and I will continue with all of you for your progress and joy in the faith,  • 26so that through my being with you again your boasting in Christ Jesus will abound on account of me.

  7. 1 Peter 1:24-25 • 24 For, “All people are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field;the grass withers and the flowers fall, • 25 but the word of the Lord endures forever.”And this is the word that was preached to you

  8. Proverbs 3:5-6 • 5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; • 6 in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

  9. C.S. Lewis – Mere Christianity • “If we find ourselves with a desire that nothing in this world can satisfy, the most probable explanation is that we were made for another world.”

  10. Jeremian 29:11 • 11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
