Olympic images • The East Midlands Development agency wanted to showcase the East Midlands as a region of sporting excellence and an inspirational place to visit in the run up to the 2012 Games and beyond. • East Midlands Tourism, the tourism arm of EMDA joined forces with current and aspiring Olympians and Paralympians from the East Midlands to produce a unique set of seven contemporary images that successfully combine tourism and sport.

  3. East Midlands Airport was approached to exclusively show these prints, and we felt this was a great opportunity to not only back local athletes but also to showcase our region.The images would welcome visitors to the region while also showing the pride we have for local beauty spots and our athletes.
