  2. Animal’s body Horses have amazing bodies. In the barn horses grow one hand taller than in the wild. When in the wild, horses grow to 48 to 56 inches. Usually horses are black, brown, white, or in between. A horses hoof is just a big toe nail.

  3. HABITAT This is were these wild horses live in North America. Wild horses live in forests, plains, deserts, mountains, and valleys. Wild horses prefer the deserts.

  4. habits These are wild horses habits. They eat fresh green grasses, leaves, bushes, young twigs, and dry sea weed. To move they walk, trot, or run. When a foal is born they lick the baby.

  5. INTERESTING FACT Horses lived when the dinosaurs lived. Back then the horses had feet with toes and were only the size of a fox.
