Circulation Services • Present a valid student ID at the circulation desk to check out books. • 2-week check-out period • Photocopy service at the • circulation desk • 5 cents charge per page • Reference books may only be viewed in the library • Failure to return books will result in library holds

  7. Library Catalog • To find a book, use our online catalog http://library.ogeecheetech.edu • You must present a valid OTC Identification card. You may check out 5 items for a 2 week period. Overdue fine is 10 cents per day. • You can also access ebooks at http://www.galileo.usg.edu Click on the News/Facts Reference tab on the GALILEO homepage.

Electronic Books • You may search and read over 48,000 books on line! • Go to http://www.netlibrary.org • You may search by keyword, title, or author • Books are available in full text • You must have an account to access the full text OR Go to http://www.galileo.usg.edu Click Database A to Z, scroll down to NetLibrary (#83) and begin your search To access Galileo from home, please check with the circulation desk for the current password.

To Access Galileo: Go to the Ogeechee Tech webpage: http://libraryogeecheetech.edu/index.asp Click on the word, Galileo. You need a password which you can get from your professor or contacting the librarian (lfutch@ogeecheetech.edu) • ELECTRONIC BOOKS: Over 48,000 full-text titles For access: Go to http://www.netlibrary.org. You will need to set up an account.

  14. NetLibrary Account Information • You must access the web site from within your library or organization. At the NetLibrary webpage, at the top it says to create a free account. Enter your identifying information (user name, password, e-mail address). Click submit. • Once you have created an account, you can log in anywhere.

  15. Computer Lab • There are 24 computers available. • Computer Usage Policy • Computers are to be used for school work only. Privileges may be take away if: you play games, chat or use instant messenger, view adult oriented graphics or websites, install/download any unapproved program/ alter or change computer settings in any way

  16. Courtesy Rules • Cell phone ringers must be turned off • Drinks are permitted if they have a lid. Please do not eat at a computer. • Children are not allowed • Keep voices to a normal inside level VibrateOn Use Your Manners
