  1. Safe and Reliable Transport of Dangerous Goods in the Baltic Sea Region (DaGoB) WP2 main results

  2. WP2 goals • Map the roles of DG authorities in the BSR including Russia; • Cooperation between DG authorities in the BSR • Organise several joint excercises

  3. WP2 Results (1 of 2) • * Arranged first official joint DG exercise with the DaGoB partners lead by the Swedish Coast Guard in Kapellskär, Sweden, 18-18 May 2006 • * Worked in cooperation with WP1 and the Lead Partner in arranging other DaGoB exercises such as the Aura exercise in the Port of Naantali and the Port of Turku, 4-5 October 06.

  4. WP2 Results (2 of 2) • * Sent out and collated questionnaire to map the roles of DG authorities in the BSR and the extent of cooperation between them • * Finalized for publication (in cooperation with the Lead Partner) the report on mapping the roles of DG authorities in the BSR and the extent of cooperation between them. It also contains a short comparative case study on legal sanctioning of DG related breaches and a survey of IT applications and systems used or needed in DG transport control.
