Process Measurement Validation Unlike an analog output transmitter alone, the MVA provides true Process Measurement Validation . . . • Every digital Process Measurement Value from the transmitter has diagnostic Status • Transmitter status is passed through the MVA to the FSC • MVA analog repeat output is Synchronously Validated for: • Transmitter Diagnostic Status • Communication(DE) Integrity • MVA Diagnostic Status AND . . . • MVA Analog Repeat Output Signal integrity • The MVA analog output (into the FSC) is re-sampled by the MVA and validated for agreement with the transmitter’s digital DE value. 3.0
