Efficient Image Registration Using 2-phase GA on Parallel Clusters

This study presents a 2-phase genetic algorithm approach for image registration on parallel clusters, maximizing correlation between reference and input images. Experimental results on Landsat and Girl images processed on a Beowulf cluster are detailed.
