LexALP: Harmonizing Environmental and Spatial Planning Terminology in the Alps

The LexALP Terminology Collection serves as a vital legal language harmonization system tailored for environmental and spatial planning across the multilingual Alpine region. Coordinated by the European Academy Bozen/Bolzano (EURAC) in December 2007, the collection encompasses terms in four languages (French, German, Italian, and Slovenian) and integrates concepts from nine legal systems, including international treaties, EU law, and national legislation. It aims to facilitate effective communication and understanding among stakeholders in environmental governance and spatial planning.
