Enhancing Ocean Sustainability: Capacity Development and Societal Awareness Initiatives

This project aims to improve ocean sustainability by developing capacity and raising societal awareness on critical issues such as ocean observations, forecasting, and acidification. Through partnerships with organizations like GOOS, CEOS VCs, and OceanSITES, we will implement outreach activities, fellowships, and prestigious visiting professorships. Focusing on ecosystem health and food security, we seek to engage communities and foster an understanding of the ocean's vital role in our environment. Together, we can build a sustainable future for our coastal zones.
