Motivation: • Our five senses are important because they help us to explore the world around us. • The five senses help in developing skills and helps the learning process begin. • It helps us in understanding our bodies. • Learning about the five senses can help in learning new things about ourselves and boosting our self-esteem.

  3. Topics that will be discussed: • Five Senses: • Touch • Taste • Feel • Hear • Sight

  4. Information/orientation: • We use our fives senses everyday and its important to understand and know how they work and are used.

  5. Directions: • Read all the information located after the name of each sense. • Click on the image and go straight to the quiz.

  6. Information: • Smell- to smell means having the faculty that lets us distinguish scents. The sense of smell is important when distinguishing smells.

  7. Information: • Taste- is to distinguish the flavor of by taking in the mouth. We have taste buds on our tongue's that help us in distinguishing these different tastes.

  8. Information: • Hearing- is the sense by which sound is perceived.

  9. Information: • Sight- is a mental perception of awareness. This is done through the eyes and used to find and see.

  10. Information: • Touch- is the faculty by which extend objects or forces are perceived through contact with the body.

  45. Evaluation Answers: • There are several good answers to these questions they will be questions on your test that you will have to write out similar to these question. Make sure you write at least two sentences for what you have learned on each sense. If your answer deals with the sense given you will get full credit. • I will grade your papers and get them back to you tomorrow in class so you have them to study from.
