  2. Mona-Lisa This is a picture artwork of Mona Lisa during the renaissance. The Florentine Renaissance housed the most famous artists and artistic works in all human history such as Leonardo Da Vinci’s ’ Mona Lisa on the right. He credited to the rebirth of classical thinking. The driving mood of the French and Italian renaissance was that of ’humanism’, a new emphasis on the perfection of the human form. http://www.family-portrait.net/portraithistory.php

  3. Civil War The misty dawn of September 17th 1862, ushered in the Civil War's bloodiest day as General George B. McClellan drove his Union army forward to roll up the left flank of General Robert E. Lee's southerners arrayed in the fields and woods surrounding the quiet Maryland village of Sharpsburg. This is significant because it informs people on the time period before today and how segregated the United States were. The Civil War was a war between the north and south, which is important to history. http://www.historicalartprints.com/viewgallist.php?id=22
