Scenario 2: Absentee Ballot • Volunteer • Do you need information on how to obtain an absentee ballot?   • Here are instructions on how to obtain an absentee ballot.   • Most counties have similar processes • It will arrive by mail along with an envelope to be mailed back in.   • You need to postmark the ballot by the day before the election in most counties.

  5. Scenario 3: Voting in Champaign • Volunteer • Do you want to change your address to vote in Champaign?   • Here is information on how it can be done.   • You need to fill out a change of address form and turn it into the County Clerk

Tips and Reminders • Be sure to remain politically unbiased at all time • We are promoting voting in general not a party • If people think we are biased they will not trust the information • Be friendly and answer questions! • Give people the handouts and direct them to our website for more information
