  1. TheCraftyYarnShop Loves Cygnet Yarns and Good Quality Wool Cygnet Yarns produce a great range of cheap wool which offers great value for money.

  2. When we started stocking their wool, we did not know what would prove popular so over the last few months that we have stocked cygnet, we have come to love this brand and have some definite favorites now.

  3. The winter season sees an increase in people wanting chunky wool, a this knits up quickly and the popular shades this season in the Seriously Chunky range are Cream (288), Slate Grey (790) and in the Seriously Chunky Prints range is the Macaw (203) The Seriously Chunky wool is knitted on 10mm – 12mm needles. I decided to knit something with it myself so I could let customers know what it was like to knit with.

  4. I put three of these yarns together, which was interesting as it made for very thick knitting wool on a pair of 15mm needles and had a go at a simple pouffe, as they are the latest in thing to knit.

  5. I kept the three balls in a bag on the floor next to me so they didn’t get tangled up, the end result was great.

  6. I would recommend anyone trying the cygnet yarns, although it is a cheap wool and its mainly UK known, their range of Aran wool 400g has a 25% wool content and the Kiddies Super soft DK baby wool is also very popular, so all worthy of trying.
