Admission as Freshmen • Grade Point Average - 10th , 11th and 12th grades - PE/military science not counted - Ds and Fs not counted if course is repeated with a better grade - The honors point
Admission As Freshmen • Entrance Examination Score (SAT I or ACT) - Relation to GPA - Not required if GPA is 3.0 and above, but still recommended
Admission As Freshmen • Subject Requirements -Need ‘C” grade or better - English- 4 years - Math- 3 years - Social Science-2 years (including 1 year of U.S. History or U.S. History and Government) - Laboratory Science- 2 years - Foreign Language- 2 years - Visual and Performing Arts- 1 year -Academic Elective- 1 year * Year-long courses and sequence
Changes in 2004 • Changes in GPA Calculation beginning in 2004 - GPA will be calculated only on the 15 required academic courses

Alternative for Those Not Eligible • Community College - Make-up missing subject requirements - Complete 56 transferable units, etc. with 2.0 GPA • EOP • Appeal for Special Admission based on circumstances, talents, etc.
Cost • Registration-$1800-2000 range for two semesters/ three quarters • books • Housing • Parking/ Commuting
