Assessment and Evaluation • Participation will serve as a weekly cumulative grade for all students on task.
A Guide to Participation Points • Each student starts the day with 20 points. • Instances of not following directions, being off task, misbehaving, etc. will result in deductions as follows…
OT -5 • Off Task • Not following directions • Not listening • Talking out of turn • Etc.
-5 G • Chewing gum. Throw it out before you enter this room. Otherwise it’s five points.
-5 HP • Horseplay • Meaning: running around the room • Playing around with a buddy • Throwing objects across room • etc
-5 NP • Not participating in a daily assignments • Completing homework from other classes
-5 T • Unexcused Tardy • Walking in late without a pass
-5 RBD • Rude behavior • Disruptive behavior • Disrespectful behavior
-5 UP • Unprepared • Forgot materials • Etc.
