  3. SLOVAKIA WAS THE THIRD SMALLEST EXPORT DESTINATION WITHIN THE EU IN 2018 • The EU is Pakistan’s largest export market representing 34% of exports • Slovakia accounted for 0.07% of total EU exports from Pakistan in 2018.

WITHIN THE EU, SLOVAKIA WAS THE TWENTIETH HIGHEST EXPORTER TO PAKISTAN IN 2018 • EU is Pakistan’s 3rd largest import partner after China and UAE. • Imports from the EU stood at $5.46 billion in 2018. • Slovakia accounts for 0.3% of Pakistan’s imports from the EU and 0.03% of total imports from the world.

PAKISTAN SLOVAKIA TradeTrends • Bilateral trade decreased from US$ 56.23 Mn in 2014 to US$ 21.34 Mn in 2018 i.e. by 62% in five years • Pakistan’s exports to Slovakia rose by 56.9% during this period. • Meanwhile, Slovakia’s exports to Pakistan decreased by 70%during these five years. • The trade deficit has decreased during the last five years, from $49.17 Mn in 2014 to around $10.26 Mn in 2018.
