Relay for Life at VSU 2009 was a vibrant fundraising event organized by the American Cancer Society. This overnight event focused on raising awareness about cancer prevention, treatments, and the importance of research. The theme, "Woodstock: Peace Out, Cancer!" highlighted the spirit of community and solidarity. Our booth featured activities like a Duckie draw, raffle tickets, and a shoe sale, alongside live music, kickball, karaoke, and a Mr. Relay pageant. Each participant had a personal reason to Relay, including memorable tributes to loved ones affected by cancer.
