By Jesus Mk 1:14-15-……”the time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand, repent ye and believe the gospel.”. By the twelve apostles Lk 9:1-2– “…. And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.”

Foretold by Daniel Dan 2:44 Jesus: “the kingdom is at hand” Mk 1:14-15 Jesus: “the kingdom...present with power” Mk 9:1 The kingdom now exists! Col. 1: 13 – “Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear son.” Rev 1: 9 – “I John, who also am your brother and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom…..”.

The kingdom of God = The reign of God God’s kingdom has always existed Ps 103:19; 145:13 - “The Lord hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all”. Yet God would reign in a new way Dan 2:44; Mk 1:15 “And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever’. God would reign via His Son Isa 9:6-7; Lk 1:31-33 “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace Christ now reigns over all Mt 28:18; Ac 2:36; 10:36; Ep 1:20-22; 1Ti 6:14-15; Re 1:5; 2:26-27; 3:21 Matt 28: 18“……….All Power is given unto me in heaven and earth”.

  5. The Blessings Of The Kingdom... Now: God’s forgiveness! Co 1:13-14; “For he has delivered “US” from the power of darkness and translated “US” into the kingdom of his dear Son , in whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins”. Now: God’s family 1Ti 3:15 “……the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth”. Now: God’s Spirit Ro 14:17; 15:13 “For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. Then: God’s eternal kingdom 2Ti 4:18 “And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom; to whom be glory for ever and ever”. Then: God’s eternal care Re 21:4-7

  6. The Entrance Into The Kingdom... Requires obedience Mt 7:21-23 Requires repentance 1Co 6:9-10 “ Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. Requires faith in the gospel Mark 16:15-16 Requires a new birth Jn 3:3-7– Born Again Requires sanctification John 17: 17 – “Sanctify them by thou word, thou word is truth”. Requires faithfulness Re 2:10 – “ ….be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life”.
