  3. The Gospel is relational Good News, not transactional in nature!

  4. What is an idol? A created thing you trust in more than the Creator A created thing on which you depend to give you hope, significance, self-worth A created thing on which you depend to determine your life purpose/goals

  5. Repentance Not changing your behavior but changing your mindset…which then affects your behavior

  6. The Living God of universe dwells in you to accomplish His purpose on the planet!

  8. 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men 10nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

  11. The Gospel is the power of God for those who believe: • Christ delivered me from the penalty of sin • The Spirit empowers me to overcome sin • The Father promises an inheritance for me that is better than anything in this world

  15. You were created in Christ Jesus to do good works! You have been recreated and the Spirit inside you wantsto do what’s right!

  16. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 Do you not know that your bodies are templesof the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.

  17. Created to do what good works? • To praise Him! • To lead others in worship! • To share Him!

  18. Live your life in such a way that it demands a gospel explanation!

  19. Don’t just preach the gospel. Demonstrate it.

  21. You are saved so that all people groups on the planet can hear about Jesus and worship Him!
