Recent Developments in connection with NTA Japan Project Submission of project proposal to UNFPA for funding (with technical assistance from Andrew Mason and K.S. Seetharam) Title of project: Asia’s Dependency Transition: Intergenerational Equity, PovertyAlleviation and Public Policy Participating countries: China, India, Thailand, and the Philippines
Budget: US$471, 000 from UNFPA, NUPRI’s contribution of US$51,800 Project duration: 2005-2007 2 training courses, 4 national seminars, and 1 international conference Many positive responses from UNPFA country representatives to our earlier concept Paper. UNFPA’s final decision will be made very soon!
