  3. Goals • Use iPads, flip cameras, & document cameras to access resources that enrich learning • To elevate the level of instruction through professional development, lesson study and peer coaching • To engage students

  4. 9 teachers per district (9X 4=36) 1-3 Administrators, Tech Integrators per district Participation- Who?

  6. Grant Strengths • Enthusiastic and dedicated teachers • Collaboration of different districts • Technology Support • Dollars for Equipment • Visitations • Summer kick off training

  7. Benefits of iPads Quick Access to Websites/No log ins Easy to use/low maintenance Students like the touch screen Engage students at all grade levels Very portable

  8. Detractors of iPads No flash No way to track student use Not as easy to create documents as laptops or netbooks Loading applications for iPad carts is time consuming Very portable (easily stolen)
