United in Diversity: Exploring Cultural Differences in European Schools

The Comenius Project (2013-2015) brought together five partner schools from Germany, France, Spain, Denmark, and Poland to explore cultural similarities and differences in students' everyday lives. Key themes included school systems, Christmas traditions, food habits, daily rhythms, and musical heritage. Each participating school hosted mobility sessions, with activities centered on cultural exchange and collaborative learning. The project aimed to foster unity in diversity, encouraging students to engage in a two-year journey of cultural exploration, recycling initiatives, and community involvement.

  2. 5 écoles partenaires: • Bertha-Krupp-Realschule, ESSEN, Allemagne Mobilité du 02 au 07 décembre 2013 • Collège de Crussol, ST PERAY, France Mobilité du 12 au 17 mai 2014 • Colegio Santa Ana, BORJA, Espagne Mobilité au mois de novembre 2014 • Fynslundsskolen, JORDRUP, Danemark Mobilité au mois de février 2015 • ZespolSzkol w Resku, RESKO, Pologne Mobilité au mois de mai 2015

  3. 5 mobilités = 5 thématiques • Allemagne : nos systèmes scolaires et nos traditions de Noël, • France : nos habitudes alimentaires et nos traditions culinaires, • Espagne : nos habitudes quotidiennes, nos rythmes de vie, • Danemark : quelle musique écoutons-nous ? Notre patrimoine musical, • Pologne : Sommes-nous unis dans la diversité ? Comment envisager l’Europe de demain ? Elaboration d’une charte pour l’avenir de l’Europe.

  4. Deux fils rouges: • Un dictionnaire de voyage, • collecte de matériaux recyclables.

  5. Comment ? • Un « club Comenius » le mardi de 12h30 à 13h20 pour préparer les mobilités et exploiter les résultats. • Les élèves sélectionnés s’engagent à y participer pendant deux années !

  6. Les mobilités • 24 mobilités minimum sur les deux années, • financées par la subvention – petite contribution des familles (20€) • accueil dans les familles
