The project • Literature review on patient involvement in health care education • Survey current practice in UK medical and dental schools • Hold two (or 3) workshop bringing together key stakeholders • Representatives from each of the 5 partner schools, and others known to be active in the field • People from the lay/user community www.medev.ac.uk

Proposed outcomes • Identify and share good practice in user involvement in medical/health care education in the UK • Document barriers and problems in involving users and carers • Produce reports for the Subject Centre and Picker Institute • Disseminate ideas and recommendations via conferences abstracts, and publication in peer-reviewed journals as appropriate. www.medev.ac.uk
