#1 #2 #3 The recorder comes in three separate pieces. Mouthpiece Body Foot Joint
Connect the Mouthpiece (#1) and the Body (#2) together with a little twist. Make sure the holes are aligned.
Finally, twist on the foot joint (#3) placing the holes slightly to the right.
LEFT HAND Proper hand position: LEFT HAND Place your left hand on the top of the recorder. Place your left thumb on the back hole. Left hand fingers (#1,2 and 3) are placed on the top 3 holes of the recorder.
Proper hand position: RIGHT HAND Place your right pointer finger on whole #4. Middle finger on whole #5. Ring finger on whole #6. RIGHT HAND
CREATE A SOUND! Take 3 minutes to… figure out how to create a sound how to create different pitches (high, middle and low) be prepared to verbalize your discoveries
