  1. IN Christ, You are a Prayer Warrior - Intercessor Genesis 18:20-32

  2. In Christ, I am … IN CHRIST, I, _______________, AM A NEW CREATION. IN CHRST, I, __________, Am a Child of God “Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.” John 1:12 In Christ, I, ________________, am Accepted. Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God. Romans 15:7 IN CHRIST, I, _____________, HAVE BEEN JUSTIFIED. “While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God's wrath through him!” Romans 5:8-9 IN CHRIST, I, ___________, HAVE BEEN BOUGHT AT A PRICE & BELONG TO GOD. “Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you received from God? 20 You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.” 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 IN CHRIST, I, ________, AM ADOPTED. For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship (adoption). And by him we cry, "Abba, Father." 16The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children. Romans 8:15-16 IN CHRIST, I, , AM REDEEMED & FORGIVEN OF ALL MY SINS. “In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace” - Ephesians 1:7 IN CHRIST, I ______________, AM SECURE. “…whoever trusts in the LORD is kept safe.” Proverbs 29:25

  3. In Christ, You are Special, Significant.”A “WORK OF GOD”. Ephesians 2:8-10 8For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9not by works, so that no one can boast. 10For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

  4. Good Works…God has called you to: Work #1 – Salt / Light – Witness to a dark world! Matthew 5:13,14-16  Work #2 …Disciple Maker. Matthew 28:18-20 Work #3 …Servant (Bondslave) . Luke 1:38 Work #4Soldier. – Battle for Jesus.2 Timothy 2: 3-4

  5. Work #5 Prayer Warrior – Intercessor. Col. 4:12 Epaphras, who is one of your number, a bondslave of Jesus Christ, sends you his greetings, always laboring earnestly for you in his prayers, that you may stand perfect and fully assured in all the will of God.

  6. What would God do but does not do until people pray … ask … intercede?

  7. Genesis 18:20-32 20 Then the LORD said, "The outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is so great and their sin so grievous 21 that I will go down and see if what they have done is as bad as the outcry that has reached me. If not, I will know." 22 The men turned away and went toward Sodom, but Abraham remained standing before the LORD [but the LORD remained standing before Abraham]. [e] 23 Then Abraham approached him and said: "Will you sweep away the righteous with the wicked? 24 What if there are fifty righteous people in the city? Will you really sweep it away and not spare [f] the place for the sake of the fifty righteous people in it? 25 Far be it from you to do such a thing—to kill the righteous with the wicked, treating the righteous and the wicked alike. Far be it from you! Will not the Judge [g] of all the earth do right?" 26 The LORD said, "If I find fifty righteous people in the city of Sodom, I will spare the whole place for their sake." 27 Then Abraham spoke up again: "Now that I have been so bold as to speak to the Lord, though I am nothing but dust and ashes, 28 what if the number of the righteous is five less than fifty? Will you destroy the whole city because of five people?"       "If I find forty-five there," he said, "I will not destroy it." 29 Once again he spoke to him, "What if only forty are found there?"       He said, "For the sake of forty, I will not do it." 30 Then he said, "May the Lord not be angry, but let me speak. What if only thirty can be found there?"       He answered, "I will not do it if I find thirty there." 31 Abraham said, "Now that I have been so bold as to speak to the Lord, what if only twenty can be found there?"  He said, "For the sake of twenty, I will not destroy it." 32 Then he said, "May the Lord not be angry, but let me speak just once more. What if only ten can be found there?"   He answered, "For the sake of ten, I will not destroy it." 33 When the LORD had finished speaking with Abraham, he left, and Abraham returned home.

  8. Jesus is our great example of …Intercession Isaiah 59:15-16 Truth is nowhere to be found, The LORD looked and was displeased that there was no justice. 16 He saw that there was no-one, he was appalled that there was no-one to intervene; so his own arm worked salvation for him, and his own righteousness sustained him. (NIV)

  9. Now there are 2 Ways to Intercede: 1.) Prayer 2.) Action

  10. 3 Groups to Intercede for: Self Jesus: Mark 14:36 36"Abba, Father," he said, "everything is possible for you. Take this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will." Saved: Brothers and Sisters Peter: Acts 12 Unsaved: Matthew 9:36-38 36When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. 37Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. 38Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field."
