I chose dog training as a career because of my love for dogs and the joy of being around them. This profession involves understanding both dog and human behaviors, and it takes place in various settings, including homes, training facilities, and clinics. Working as a dog trainer demands patience and a calm demeanor. In 2008, there were approximately 47,000 animal trainers in the workforce. Necessary training includes knowledge of dog behavior and designing effective classes. Ultimately, I aspire to engage with dogs daily and help their owners build better relationships with them.
