WHAT IS YOUR SIGN?. We are a sign of something- When people see us they think of something Example- Prov. 18:24 “shew himself friendly” Do people think that of us when seen? Or opposite?. Acts 4:13 “Took knowledge of them that they had been with Jesus” Is it obvious I am a Christian?

  2. We are a sign of something- When people see us they think of something Example- Prov. 18:24 “shew himself friendly” Do people think that of us when seen? Or opposite?

  3. Acts 4:13 “Took knowledge of them that they had been with Jesus” Is it obvious I am a Christian? Or would it surprise people to find out I was? Gal. 2:20 Following are ways it is evident that we have been with Jesus

  4. John 13:34,35- Lord’s disciples known by love shown for brethren Eph. 1:15; I Thess. 4:9,10 Expressed in actions- I John 3:14-18

  5. John 1:47 No Guile No deceit, no pretention, sincere, what you see is what you get Or is it hypocritical or fake?

  6. I Thess. 1:7,8- Examples of Evangelism Lord’s mission to seek and save the lost Great Commission to us- They took it Seriously- Do we? We are fishers of men- How many have you caught?

  7. Pure Behavior- I Pet. 2:11,12; 3:1,2 I Pet. 4:1-4; Matt 5:8 Is it evident that we are pure in heart by what we watch, read, and do?

  8. Good Works- I Pet. 2:12; Matt. 5:13-16 See our good works and glorify God We are to be known by our good works I Tim. 5:10; Tit. 2:7 Or am I a spiritual slug?

  9. Doctrine- Tit. 2:7- Uncorrupted, gravity, sincerity Or am I one who teaches things contrary to sound doctrine? Matt. 7:20 And one to be avoided? Rom. 16:17; And rejected? II John 9-11

  10. Sound Speech- Tit. 2:7,8 Is it proper? Col. 4:6, Eph. 4:29; Prov. 25:11 Or hurtful? Prov. 12:18 Can be trusted with secret? Prov. 11:13 Or a talebearer? Prov. 11:13 Known for truth? Prov. 12:17 Or lies? Prov. 12:17;19

  11. Example- in word and deed- I Tim. 4:12,15 “Progress evident to all” V16- Life and teaching will save others- Will mine? Or will it lead others to be lost?
