Management Executive:- • Transition from HEG to fully operational ME over 3 months started 16 January 2007 • Devolved power from Trust Board/ Executive Directors meetings • Will be the Executive Board by April • Executive Directors meeting to initiate strategy, guide the ME, review progress • CEO will always be the “Accountable Officer”
Management Executive:- • Discuss more clinical/ operational issues • Develop Strategy (including Business Development) • Consider Business Cases • Senior Managerial/ Clinical interface
Organisational Structure:- • Fewer levels • More clinical engagement • Devolved power/ accountability • Earned autonomy to be developed • Fit for Foundation Trust Status
