  3. Current Progress • Nearly completed assembly • Missing parts, RC receiver

  4. Current Progress • Place order for missing parts • Early configuration and testing of APM

  5. Current Progress • Researching communication options for direct connection between drone and Android/Iphone • Radio • Good range, requires addition to phone • Bluetooth • Easiest to work with, very short range • WiFi • Acceptable range, no extra attachments for phone

  6. Plans for next week • Continue researching communication options • Learn more about APM software • Complete assembly if needed parts arrive • Draft requirements document and meet with sponsors for feedback

  7. Issues/Risks • Time to ship needed parts • Highly likely that props or other components break while testing • Unforeseen technical problems • Soldering • If programmed/assembled incorrectly, drone could fly away and never be seen again

  8. Problems • One motor spinning wrong direction • Calibration issue? • Missing parts • Vague instructions • Team schedule
