  3. As an organisation our “Vision” is a society which: • Recognises the contemporary value of heritage • Values its significant contribution to current needs • Supports the voluntary sector in delivering this Heritage Link Strategic Plan 2006-2009

  5. Why regional events? • Create community • Networking • Identify issues • Hear views out of London

  6. Current key issues • Heritage Protection Review White Paper • Comprehensive Spending Review • Diversity programme • VAT (still/again!)
