  3. GREEN GOVERNMENT • THE ONE FACTOR AND LENDER OF LEGAL TENDER THAT PUTS THE UPGRADE OF GREEN TECHNOLOGY TO A HALT IS THE GOVERNMENT • WITH THE EARTHS HEALTH SLOWLY FADING, WHAT IS THE GOVERNMENT DOING TO SUSTAIN THE ENVIRONMENT Joseph Bianchi

  4. THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY • The Department of energy has kept their eye on the upcoming technological advances in the production of energy. Their main focus is energy efficiency and renewable energy. • They have actually promoted two programs that are working to spread the wealth and investment of green technology throughout the nation.   5. STATE FUNDING • There are two mutual programs that work together to provide the nation funds to invest into renewable energy projects. They are “State Energy Program”, and the “The Department of Energy’s Federal Energy Management program.” • The Federal Energy Management program is actually the main foundation of the “State Energy Program”, through this, the left over government funds are held and granted to each state through the Department of Energy. ALL OR NOTHING • California has been taking the environmental sustainability act quite seriously. • They are the leading state that is pushing to be one hundred percent environmental friendly. • Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has posed several grants toward the maximum investment in solar panels and windmills throughout the state. WORKERS PRODUCTIVITY IN GREEN BUILDINGS • Green building are buildings that are • Designed to better workers working space. • They consist of bigger windows to let in more light to lower electrical emissions. • Better ventilation , and the elimination of all chemicals from indoor and outdoors. • They also try to eliminate SBS which is sick building syndrome. • A Study of 154 green buildings with 2,000 tenants, were 534 participated in the test. • 54.5 percent of the workers were more productive, 42 percent agreed, and 12 percent said no of change.   13. WORKERS STEPS TO GO GREEN • New classes for electricians to learn about installing solar panels and other green technology. • With more workers learning about how to install these panels it will lower costs for the customer to afford to have them installed. Eli Fischer

THE POSITIVE EFFECTS • Thanks to the recent improvements on educating electricians on green technology it has helped reduce the costs for the home owner. • After being newly educated on green technology it has opened many doors for new jobs in the electrical field for those out of work Eli Fischer
