  3. Do you know the properties of a parallelogram? • The DEFINITION only says that the opposite sides are parallel. • What else do you know about its sides? • Angles? • Diagonals?

  4. Properties of Parallelograms • Both pairs of opposite sides are parallel. (definition) • Opposite sides are congruent.

  5. Opposite angles are congruent. • Diagonals bisect each other.
