  11. Ongoing Action Items (1) •Annual Summer Steering Committee Meeting. G. Liebermann to host the next meeting at Xerox ,Toronto on July 23, 1999 •Potential session chairs / co-chairs and session titles to be identified before the committee meeting by the Area Chairs/ Vice-Chairs to streamline to selection process, final decission at the Area/Subcommittee meetings •Explore joint sessions with a principally academic group, e.g., Reaction Engineering •Post information about Group 12 on the AIChE website(GL/JC) •Consider programming a joint session with other AIChE groups to gain wider exposure - run a question and answer session, or “ask the Expert”. Consider a panel discussion or a tutorial.

Ongoing Action Items (2) •Other meeting activities, such as benchmarking, where people talk about their organization, or round table discussions on specific topics will continue •Continue with: - benchmarking - visits to member’s facility (during Conferences or Steering Committee Meetings) - networking (Process Development Committee, dinner) - round table discussion surveys of attendees to ask them what they want from a Group 12 session
