Plan for the Course: Multidisciplinary Senior Design Projects Friday (Jan 20): Guest speakers: Ann Reinthal & Deborah Espy (Faculty of Health Sciences), and lab visit (HS014) First two weeks: Forming groups: each group consists of 3 students Learn Kinect and WPF programming (in C#) Finalize senior design project topics, create a Web page for each project (facebook.com ?) From week 3 on, meet at least every week One-page progress report & project consultation Bring your design notebook! Document who contributed what Meeting time can be flexible: prefer on Mondays In week 8 (March 5-9): mid-term report and presentation 30-minute presentation (per group) Two-page progress report In week 16 (Apr 30 – May 4): final project report and presentation 30-minute presentation (per group) 1/2/2020 EEC484/584: Computer Networks

  3. Project Proposal • Define project goal and objectives • Enumerate a list of tasks to be accomplished with a time line • Task allocation among group members

  4. Progress Report Requirement • Document tasks completed • Document who contributed what • Design notebook will be checked in each group meeting • Refine future tasks and task allocation
