  2. Setting • This story is an adventure story most of the time they are in a very cold place, like mountains, tundra or cities. The main character is staying at a magical camp, after he woke up on a bus with no memory. One amazing thing is Rick Riordan manages to put all of it in the time period we live to day.

  3. Plot: Conflict • Jason has lost his memory and tries to get it back. At the same side he has to save the world. • Piper has to save her dad from the giant Enceladus.

  4. Plot: Resolution • Pipers friends help her to fight Enceladus, and rescue her kid-napped dad. After helping free Hera, queen of the gods, Jason's memory comes back piece by piece.

  5. Your Opinion • I think this book is awesome! To me this is one of my most favorite books, by my favorite author of all time. I can’t wait for the next book.

He graduated the University of Texas at Austin with two majors in English and history. • 2nd his Tres Navarre series won top three awards in mystery. • 3rd He lives in San Antonio Texas. • 4th He worked as editor of school news paper, won third in state for UIL feature writing. • 5th Attended the school of Alamo Heights High school.

  8. Summary • Jason woke up on a bus With his so called friends. After getting attacked by Venti at the grand Canyon, they got extracted and brought to camp half-blood. Almost as soon as they got their they got sent on a quest to save Hera. Along the way they get closer to each other and Jason finds his long-lost sister. They free pipers dad and release Hera from her cage. But, now the giant king Porphyrion is free. They finally get back to camp half-blood and find out the truth about Jason.
