IACRA Integrated Airman Certification and / or Rating Application • Web based program that automates the airman application process • Accessible over the internet and integrates FAA data into IACRA process • Electronically captures and validates application information • Electronically retrieves Knowledge Test Reports for review • Certification files are electronically “e-signed” by Applicant, CFI, and DPE • Produces 8710.1, 8060-4, 8060-5, or Letter of Discontinuance • Certification files are electronically transmitted to AFS-760 in OKC • DPE certification file error rate is significantly reduced • Eliminates paper files being sent to the FSDO for review • Accelerates receipt of applicant’s permanent certificate

IACRA How to get started with IACRA • Have assess to computer equipment that properly operates IACRA • Log on to IACRA at: http://acra.faa.gov/iacra • Register in IACRA to obtain an FAA Tracking Number (FTN) • Log on to the IACRA Training Site at: http://iacratraining.faa.gov • Generate training site login information for all “user roles” in part 61 & 141 • Practice numerous types of certifications until you’re ready to “solo” • Advise flight schools and flight instructors of the transition to IACRA • Provide guidance to the instructional community on “how to get started” • Call a member of the North Florida FSDO IACRA Support Network, or the National Help Desk, anytime that you need help.
