Switch all electrical equipment off. ii. Switch alternator off. iii. Reset excitation CB. iv. Reset alternator CB. v. Switch alternator back on. If alternator output restored, re-establish only essential loads, land as soon as practicable If alternator output not restored use minimum electrical services and attain VMC. Battery duration is of the order of 30 minutes. Note: The engine does NOT require battery power to keep running. Action in the event of door opening during flight i. Keep flying the aircraft. ii At a suitable time close the door.
